12.3 Updating the Firmware
It is important that this procedure is carried out exactly as described, as
it is possible to get the device into an unusable state.
The usual static handling precautions should be observed.
The following screen shots were taken using version 2.49 of FlashMagic, other
versions may differ.
12.3.1 Requirements
1. Serial Programming Lead. This is identical to the one used to update the
firmware on the H8 processor in the Eclipse MVX16A cards.
