16. Reset the E-QUE card using the reset button on the front. The reboot should
be seen on the serial console. This reset is essential; it permits TermTerm to
interrupt the boot process, which it needs to do.
17. When the boot countdown appears again on the serial console, TeraTerm
should recognise that the card has rebooted and request the information
required for the upload.
Enter the following information into the dialog boxes that TeraTerm will pop up:
The IP address that you want to use for the E-QUE card
The IP address of the PC
The name of the new firmware file.
18. If the card is not rebooted these windows will come up anyway after a minute
or so - but then script will fail as it will try to log into the E-QUE card and will be
told the login failed.
19. The file should now download to the card, and the card will reboot. If
"Downloading file: T T T T" is displayed on the TeraTerm serial console this
indicates a problem downloading the file. Check the network connection and
the IP addresses that were entered.
When the reboot process has completed, the new firmware version should be
shown on the serial console.
20. After the download, the card will reset itself. Towards the end of the boot
sequence output will be a datestamp and version string, along the lines of
"RELEASE_1_00". It is advisable to check this string to verify the firmware
version.
