How to Fade Over from the Last
Recorded Scene to the Next
(Digital Mix)
This function makes it possible to achieve a smooth
transition from the last recorded scene to the next
scene. When starting to shot the new scene, a still
picture of the last recorded scene appears, and it is then
gradually replaced by the moving picture of the new
scene.
Notes:
1. Since the still picture is recorded from the digital
image memory, the picture quality becomes slightly
inferior to that of normally recorded pictures.
2. Performing Recording Review or pressing the [VTR/
CAMERA] Button does not erase the picture in the
digital image memory.

Turn until the “ ” Indication is iit.
•The “MIX” Indication Q appears in the
Vietwfinder.

Press.
•The shooting starts.

Press.
•The shooting stops (Shooting Pause Mode).
•The Indication Q changes to @.
•The last picture of the just recorded scene is kept
in the digital image memory.

Press.
•The picture (from the memory) appears as still
picture. It is then gradually faded over to the
moving picture of the new scene.
■ To Cancel the Digital Mix Function
Turn the Digital Dial to the lowermost position so that
none of the 6 indications is lit.

Mit dieser Funktion kann ein sauberes allmähliches
Überblenden von der zuletzt aufgenommenen Szene
auf die nächste Szene erzielt werden. Beim
Aufnahmestart der neuen Szene erscheint zuerst ein
Standbild der letzten Szene, und die Funktion „Digital
Mix“ blendet dann sanft auf das bewegte Bild der neuen
Szene über.
Hinweise:
1. Da das Standbild aus dem digitalen Bildspeicher
aufgezeichnet wird, sind Bildqualität und -auflösung
im Vergleich zu den auf normale Weise
aufgezeichneten bewegten Bildern etwas geringer.
2. Beim Durchführen von Aufnahmekontroll-
Wiedergabe (CHK) oder beim Drücken der [VTR/
CAMERA]-Taste wird das Bild im digitalen
Biidspeicher nicht gelöscht.

Drehen, bis die Anzeige „ (3 “ beleuchtet
ist.
• Die Anzeige „MIX“ erscheint im Sucher.
Drücken.
•Die Aufnahme beginnt.
Drücken.
• Die Aufnahme virird gestoppt (Betriebsart
Aufnahmepause).
•Die Anzeige „MIX“ wechselt von Q auf Q über.
•Das letzte Bild der eben aufgenommenen Szene
bleibt im Bildspeicher gespeichert.

Drücken.
•Das Bild (vom Bildspeicher) erscheint als
Standbild. Es wird dann allmählich durch das
bewegte Bild der neuen Szene ersetzt.
■ Ausschalten der Funktion „Digital Mix“
Den Digital-Wahlschalter in seine unterste Stellung
drehen, so daß keine der 6 Anzeigen beleuchtet ist.
