1^ How to Attach the Charged Battery
Pack
If an exhausted Battery Pack is attached, the “ [SJ ”
Indication in the Viewfinder flashes.

Attach the Battery Pack to the lower
Battery Pack Holder.
Press the upper part of the Battery Pack
(the side with the Charging Confirmation
Marker) towards the Movie Camera until it
locks with a click.
H Removing the Battery Pack
Notes:
1. Never remove the Battery Pack during recording or
playback, because the tape would remain in contact
with the video heads and this could cause damage to
the heads and tape.
2. When sliding the [BATTERY EJECT] Lever, be sure
to hold the Battery Pack as shown in the illustration
above, to prevent it from dropping.
3. Remove the Battery Pack from the Movie Camera
after use and keep it in a cool place. If the Battery
Pack remains attached to the Movie Camera, a small
amount of current flows to the Movie Camera even if
the [POWER] Switch is turned in, and this shortens
the battery life.

Turn in the [POWER] Switch. (The Movie
Camera is switched off.)

Pull off the Battery Pack while sliding the
[BATTERY EJECT] Lever in the direction
of the arrow.

Wenn ein erschöpfter Akku am Camerarecorder
angebracht wird, blinkt die Anzeige „ tSJ “ im Sucher.
Den Akku in die untere Akkuhalterung
einsetzen.

Den oberen Teil des Akkus (das Ende mit
der Ladezustand-Markierung) gegen den
Camerarecorder drücken, so daß er hörbar
einrastet.
■ Abnehmen des Akkus
Hinweise:
1. Den Akku nie während der Aufnahme oder
Wiedergabe abnehmen, denn dabei würde das Band
in Berührung mit den Videoköpfen bleiben, was Band
und Köpfe beschädigen könnte.
2. Wenn der [BATTERY EJECT]-Knopf verschoben
wird, muß der Akku mit der Hand gehalten werden,
wie in obiger Abbildung gezeigt, damit er nicht
abfallen kann.
3. Nach beendetem Einsatz den Akku vom
Camerarecorder abnehmen und ihn an einem kühlen
Ort aufbewahren. Wenn der Akku am
Camerarecorder angeschlossen bleibt, wird auch im
ausgeschalteten Zustand, Schalter [POWER] nach
innen gedreht, Strom von ihm entnommen und seine
Ladekapazität reduziert.
Den Schalter [POWER] nach innen drehen.
(Der Camerarecorder ist ausgeschaltet.)
Den [BATTERY EJECT]-Knopf in
Pfeilrichtung schieben und gleichzeitig
den Akku abnehmen.
