(î) For selecting the VHS mode or Super-VHS mode
When the Super-VHS mode is selected, the
indication is displayed in the Viewfinder.
(However, when a normal VHS-C video cassette is
inserted in the Movie Camera, the indication
does not appear, because recording in the
Super-VHS mode is not possible on a normal VHS-C
video cassette.)
Notes:
1. When using an Super-VHS-C video cassette that you
want to play back on a standard VHS VTR (carrying
the VHS logo), be sure to set the Movie Camera to
the VHS mode. If an Super-VHS recording is played
back on a standard VHS VTR, the picture will be
totally distorted.
However, by connecting this Movie Camera directly
to a TV set, playback of Super-VHS recordings
becomes possible. (-»

A standard VHS VTR that also carries the “SQPB”
logo (Super-VHS-Quasi Playback), on the other
hand, is capable of playing back Super-VHS
recordings.
2. When playing back video cassettes on this Movie
Camera, the format used for shooting will be
detected and automatically selected for playback.

Wenn die Super-VHS-Betriebsart gewählt wird,
erscheint die Anzeige im Sucher. (Wenn jedoch
eine VHS-C-Videocassette im Camerarecorder ist,
erscheint die Anzeige nicht, da es nicht möglich
ist, in der Super-VHS-Betriebsart auf eine
VHS-C-Videocassette aufzunehmen.)
Hinweise:
1. Bei Verwendung einer Super-VHS-C Videocassette,
die Sie auf einem Standard-VHS-Videorecorder (der
das VHS-Logo trägt), wiedergeben möchten, muß
am Camerarecorder die VHS-Betriebsart gewählt
werden. Wird versucht, eine Super-VHS-Aufnahme
auf einem Standard-VHS-Videorecorder
wiederzugeben, so ist das Bild vollständig verzerrt.
Durch direkten Anschluß dieses Camerarecorders an
den Fernseher ist es jedoch möglich,
Super-VHS-Aufnahmen wiederzugeben. (-» 102)
Es ist jedoch möglich, einen Standard-VHS-
Videorecorder, der das „SQPB“-Logo
(Super-VHS-Quasi-Wiedergabe) trägt, zum
Wiedergeben von Super-VHS-Aufnahmen zu
verwenden.
2. Bei der Wiedergabe von Videocassetten auf diesem
Camerarecorder wird das für die Aufnahme gewählte
Format festgestellt und automatisch für die
Wiedergabe gewählt.
