Note 1: For definition of event and action codes see
for the Event list and
section 9.4.27 on page 9-33
for the Action list. The codes sent
via communications would be the number listed there. If the event is to be negated,
the event code will be negated as well. For example, the code for external input is
0x41. To indicate not external input (that is, input not set) the code is 0xBF. Action
codes may not be negated.
Note 2: Numeric 1 is present if the event code requires a numeric. The range is
dependent on the specific code.
Note 3: Numeric 2 is present if the event code requires a second numeric. It is a
4-byte integer. The range is dependent on the specific code.
Note 4: The Action Numeric is present if the action code requires a numeric. The
range is dependent on the specific code.
The ordering of the logic elements is as follows: (The term Event Code includes
Negated Event Code)
Event Terms
1
First element of term can be '(', a space, or an Event code
2
If space, there are no events, go straight to Action Terms. (see below)
3
if '(', next element must be event code
4
If event code, if numerals are required for specific code, they must be next
5
After event code, with its numerals, there may or may not be a ')'
6
Next must be either a connector or a space.
7
If a space, move on to Action Terms.
8
If connector, start next event (go to point 3. above).
NOTE: The last term cannot have a connector
Action Terms
Up to five action codes make up the action terms. Each code will be followed by a
numeric if it is required. There are no connectors passed with the actions, as all
actions are anded together.
The logic statement ends with a 0x03 (ETX).
