Obtain and Install a CA Certificate and Private Key
Although the Neoview platform automatically generates a self-signed certificate, it is a good
security practice to generate a new server certfificate signed by a Certificate Authority (CA) and
install it on the Neoview platform.
NOTE:
The Neoview security infrastructure does not provide verification of CA certificates.
To deploy your own certificate using HPDM, you (as ROLE.SECMGR) must:
1.
Use the Generate CSR tab on the HPDM CA Certificate screen to create a Certificate Signing
Request (CSR).
2.
Submit the CSR to the CA for signing.
