If the KAPL09020-E message appears during the uninstallation of HDLM, go to
step 3.

Execute the following command

to unregister program products that include
HNTRLib2:
C:\>"C:\Program

Dynamic Link Manager"

Execute the following command

to check if any program is using HNTRLib2:
C:\>"C:\Program

\HITACHI\HNTRLib2\bin\hntr2getname.exe"
If the name of a program using HNTRLib2 is displayed, a program other than
HDLM is using HNTRLib2. If this happens, do not delete HNTRLib2. No further
steps are required.
If no names of programs using HNTRLib2 are displayed, go to the next step.
4.
Execute the following command

to uninstall HNTRLib2:
C:\>"C:\Program
Files

\HITACHI\HNTRLib2\unsetup\unsetup.exe"
5.
After the uninstallation of HNTRLib2 finishes, restart the host.

Notes:
• If HNTRLib2 is being used by another program, the KAPL09026-I message
will appear and HNTRLib2 will not be uninstalled.
If you are unable to complete uninstallation even though no programs other
than HDLM are using HNTRLib2, contact your HDLM vendor or, if you
have a maintenance contract for HDLM, contact maintenance company.
• If the log output folder in HNTRLib2 is not the default folder, the log files
will not be deleted during the uninstallation. If this happens, delete these files
manually after the uninstallation finishes.
• For Windows Server 2003 (x86), uninstalling HDLM does not delete the
