3.5.4 Performing a New Installation of HDLM on Windows Server
2008
Note:
If you are running a Windows Server 2008 Server Core environment, install
HDLM by performing an unattended installation.
(1) In a Non-Cluster Environment
Before installing HDLM, have a license key ready.
If you want to perform an unattended installation, also be sure to prepare an
installation-information settings file.
To install HDLM in a non-cluster environment:
1.
Log on to Windows as a member of the Administrators group.
2.
Save the license key file directly under the Windows installation-destination
drive. Also, instead of using the license key file, you can directly specify a license
key during the installation of HDLM.

:\hdlm_license
The license key file will be deleted after the installation finishes.
3.
Perform the installation.
