The parts provided
Protection bar (x1), bar brackets (x2), hexagon socket bolts (5 mm width across flats) (x2), required num-
ber of the protection bar intermediate brackets
Standard mounting bracket A (OP-42347), B (OP-42348), C (OP-42349), or J (OP-83180) is required to
mount the protection bar.

The hexagon socket bolts provided must be used to secure the bar bracket to both ends of the protection bar
as shown in figure below. (Recommended tightening torque of 7 N
• m)

The base bracket provided with standard mounting bracket A (OP-42347), B (OP-42348), C (OP-42349), and J
(OP-83180) must be secured with three cross slot screws as shown in figure below. Be sure to secure the
bracket so that the engraved mark on the base bracket faces in the same direction as the surface of the SL-V.

Both the standard mounting bracket and the bar bracket must be secured to the base bracket with hexagon socket
bolts. The standard mounting bracket and hexagon socket bolts are provided with the standard mounting bracket.
When using standard mounting bracket J, the mounting bracket is installed to the machine at first, and
then the bar bracket is secured.
