This user’s manual mentions that the SL-V units can be connected in series as “main unit” and “sub unit
1”, or “sub unit 2” as follows.

Remove the connector cover on the main unit.
Do not remove the cover unless connecting
the unit in series.

Connect the series connection cable for
transmitter (cable insulation is grey) to the
portion of connector. (Connector cover has
already been removed in step 1.)
Recommended tightening torque : 0.3 N·m
Minimum cable bending radius
: 5 mm

The series connection cable must be also
connected to the sub unit 1.

The sub unit 1 can be connected to sub unit 2 in the same manner, if necessary.
Do not remove the grey gasket installed on the connector. Without this gasket the requirement
of IP65 can not be fulfilled.
