Changing of the condition for initiation of muting
(time period between muting input 1 and 2)
(1) Follow the procedure under "Entering the password".
"Entering the password" (page 2-39)
(2) This setting depends on the state of the override input (red/black wire on the receiver).
ON: The condition for initiation of muting (time period of 0.04s to 3s between muting input 1 and 2) is deac-
tivated, which means that the time period of 0.04s to no defined time is active. (the interlock indicator on the
receiver blinks.)
OFF: The condition for initiation of muting (time period of 0.04s to 3s between muting input 1 and 2) is acti-
vated, which means the default time period is active. (The interlock indicator on the receiver does not light.)
(3) Turn ON the muting input 1.
(4) Turn ON the muting input 2, and then turn OFF the muting input 2. The bar LED 1 on the receiver lights in green.
(5) Turn OFF the muting input 1.
(6) Turn ON the muting input 2.
(7) Turn ON the muting input 1, and then turn OFF the muting input 1. You must repeat this action four
times. The bar LED 3 on the receiver lights in red.
(8) Turn OFF the muting input 2.
(9) If these procedures are performed correctly, the bar LED 1 on the receiver lights in green. After-
wards, the center indicator on the receiver lights in red and then lights in green again approximately
one second later. This indicates that the settings are completed.
(10) Turn OFF the power to the SL-V, and then the interlock mode selection input (pink wire from the
transmitter) must be wired.
"Interlock Function" (page 2-7)
(11) The condition for initiation of muting (time period between muting input 1 and 2) is changed when the
power to the SL-V is turned ON. The SL-V keeps this condition even if the power to the SL-V is turned OFF.
When muting input 2 turns ON more than 3 seconds after muting input 1 turns ON in case where both the
condition for termination of muting (maximum muting period of approx. 5 minutes) and the condition for
initiation of muting (time period of 0.04s to 3s between muting input 1 and 2) are deactivated, muted con-
dition is terminated approx. 5 minutes later even if the condition for termination of muting (maximum mut-
ing period of approx. 5 minutes) is deactivated.
This is for the avoidance of unintended and/or infinite muted condition.
When another condition for muting, regardless of initiation or termination, is also changed in addition to the change
of the above-mentioned condition, you can continue the procedure for another condition following the step (9).
On the other hand, when the change of the above-mentioned condition follows the change of another condition for
muting, regardless of initiation or termination, you can waive the step (1).
Ex.: Time chart when changing the time period between muting inputs (default) is deactivated.
