The unit connection cable for transmitter (cable insulation is grey) must be connected to the transmitter as shown below. Simi-
larly, the unit connection cable for receiver (cable insulation is black) must be connected to the receiver as shown below.

Do not remove the grey gasket installed on the connector. Without this gasket the require-
ment of IP65 can not be fulfilled.
•
Connect the unit connection cable to the connector receptacle on the lower part of the SL-V. Removing the con-
nector cover on the upper part of the SL-V and connecting the unit connection cable may result in an SL-V failure.

For the SL-VHM, ferrite core is not required. However, for the SL-VF, SL-VH, SL-VL, or SL-VLM, one ferrite
core must be put on the SL-V unit connection cable for the transmitter. On the other hand, for the SL-VFM,
two ferrite core must be put on the SL-V unit connection cable for the receiver.

The cable combination as shown below is acceptable.
