Primary Travel (speed) - Background Travel
(speed). If Travel Mode is set to CONT (continuous) the
electrode rotation will remain at the Primary Travel (RPM)
setting. If the Travel Mode is set to STEP the electrode
rotation (RPM) will alternate between the Primary and
Background travel (RPM) settings.
Pulse Mode - Pulse Mode is selectable by a pull-down
menu in each level. Pulse Mode ON pulses the current
between the primary and background amps by enabling the
pulse timers and background amps. Pulse Mode OFF pro-
vides full primary amps. Pulse Mode External allows the
pulse to be triggered by an external source.
Travel Mode - Electrode travel mode can be selected from
the pull-down menu in each level. In Travel Mode CONT
the electrode travels at a constant speed; in Step the elec-
trode may travel at different speeds during the primary and
background pulse times, typically primary travel is set to
zero in step mode; in OFF the electrode does not move; in
External travel may be triggered by an external device.
