Start Level - This is the amperage at which the 307 initi-
ates the arc if upslope is used. When upslope is set to zero,
the start level current is equal to Level 1 primary amps.
Level Advance - Use the pull-down menu to set the Level
Advance to Manual, Auto or External. In Auto Mode the
levels advance from one level to the next as the level tim-
ers time out and/or according to preset level positions. In
manual mode, the levels advance by using the Level
Advance button on the touch screens or remote pendant.
External advance requires input from an external device.
Stubout Mode - Stubout Mode On means that if the elec-
trode contacts the weld pool or work, a fault will occur and
power will be shut down. Stubout Mode must be Off for
manual welding. Use the pull-down menu to select mode.
Travel Start Delay - Travel Start (Rotation) Delay is the
time allowed for the rotor to remain stationary after arc
start. Time should be just sufficient to achieve full penetra-
tion before the rotor starts to move.
Travel Direction - The default travel direction for weld
heads is clockwise (CW). Other options, selectable from
the pull-down menu on the Single Level screen are coun-
terclockwise (CCW) and OFF.
