hapter 11. Welding with the Model 307
In order to weld with the Model 307, you must have an
open weld schedule for the size of tube or pipe you intend
to weld and the Weld Schedule-Weld screen for that
schedule must be displayed in weld mode on the 307 touch
screen.
3 Ways To Open a Weld Schedule:
1. Weld Schedules may be opened from the Model 307
Library. Touch Library on the 307 Opening
Screen. (see Chapter 7).
2. The Last Schedule used on the 307 may be opened
directly by touching the OPEN LAST SCHEDULE but-
ton on the Opening Screen. (See Chapter 6, page 3.)
3.If no schedule exists for the size of tube or pipe you
are welding, select the Create New Schedule button
from the 307 Opening Screen to create a new weld
schedule. (See Chapters 8 and 9).
When a schedule is opened, the WELD SCHEDULE - MAIN screen for that
schedule will appear:
Weld Schedule Name
To weld with this
schedule, touch the
WELD button to
bring up the WELD
SCHEDULE - WELD
SCREEN.
