3. The
Main
screen displays the contents of the configuration file.
Use the up and down navigation facilities on the right-hand side of the screen to view the entire page.
4. The
Page
parameter displays the portion of the configuration file currently displayed in the main viewing
area.
The total number of pages in the file are displayed to the right of the current page. The total number of
lines in the file display in the Status field at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll to corresponding pages as required to view the entire contents of the file. To navigate to a specific
page, enter the page number in the text area (next to Page item) and click on the
Go
button. The source
parameter differs depending on the source selected.
5. Refer to the
Status
field for the current state of the requests made from the applet. Requests are any
“SET/GET” operation from the applet. The Status field displays error messages if something goes wrong
in the transaction between the applet and the switch.
6. Click the
Refresh
button to get the most recent updated version of the configuration file.
7. Click
Close
to close the dialog without committing updates to the running configuration.
3.3.2 Editing a Config File
Configuration files display in the
Name
field within the Configuration tab. If necessary, change the name of
the file to meet the needs of the revised configuration.
To edit the contents of a configuration file:
1. Select
Switch
>
Configurations
from the main menu tree.
2. Select a configuration file from those displayed within the configuration screen and click the
Edit
button.
