▼ Power Off – Emergency Shutdown
Caution – All applications and files will be closed abruptly without saving changes.
File system corruption might occur.
● Press and hold the Power button for four seconds.
▼ Disconnect Power Cords From the Server
● Unplug all power cords from the server.
Caution – Because 3.3v standby power is always present in the system, you must
unplug the power cords before accessing any cold-serviceable components.
Extending the Server to the Maintenance
Position
The following components can be serviced with the server in the maintenance
position:
■ Fan trays
■ CMP/memory modules
■ FB-DIMMs
■ PCIe/XAUI cards
■ Service processor
■ Power supply backplane
■ Hard drive backplane
