Dual Head Function
The dual head function uses two measuring heads to measure the width of sheet
material or the outer diameter of thick targets that are too large to be measured with a
single head.

Mounting the Measuring Heads
When using the dual head function, mount
the two measuring heads so that their top
sides face each other.

Operation Method
1
Set the unit and the minimum display unit according to the size of the object.
(See page 5-57)

Set the APP-MODE to DUAL. (See page 5-64)

Place the master workpiece between the measuring heads.

Enter the size of the master workpiece in “OFFSET” of the output setting on
the OUT1 side.

Set Auto Zero on the OUT1 side.

The measurement result of the diameter is displayed and output as OUT1.

Target Viewer Function
When the simultaneous display of
CAMERA1 and CAMERA2 is
selected, the outer diameter of the
target can be checked with the area
cursor. The actual image cannot be
displayed.
When the target is displaced from the measurement range of the two
measuring heads, the display shows a measurement standby state ("- - - - -").
This let you check whether the target is measured in the correct position.
