Statistical Processing

The statistical processing function calculates peak, bottom, average, peak-to-peak, stand-
ard deviation, N output, HH output, HI output, GO output, LO output, and LL output values.

Statistical Processing Items Available

• Statistical processing is possible independently for each program number and OUT

(output).

• Statistical processing under RS-232C control is possible.
• The results of statistical processing can be printed out.
• Refer to page 7-14 for the timing chart of statistical processing.

Setting Range

The following statistical processing items are selectable. Refer to page 5-62 for the
setting method.
• OFF:

The statistical processing function is not used.

• EXT:

External synchronous setting is used.

• 1000 (value): Internal synchronous setting is used. The setting range is between 2

and 9999999.

Statistical-processed measured value

RUN mode

Normal, auto peak hold, auto bottom hold,
auto peak-to-peak hold

Measured values determined by
TIMING input.

Peak hold, bottom hold, peak-to-peak hold,
average hold, sample hold 1, sample hold 2

Measured values determined by
TIMING input.

Self-timing hold

Measured values determined by self-
timing.

Note:

• A statistic value is refreshed when the statistical processing is finished.
• When statistical processing is activated, the statistic value will be held until

the LS-7600 Series is turned OFF or the program is initialized or reset.

• If there is no measured value (i.e., the display is “---.-----“), no statistical

processing is possible or calculated into memory.

• NG output can be printed but not displayed.
