BASIC OPERATION
MIDDLE DISPLAY
Remote:
Set-point is derived from a remote location and
is brought into the instrument through the
remote set-point input on the option card.
Local:
Set-point is derived at the instrument and may
be fixed in the SETPTS MENU or adjusted in
the DISPLAYS MENU.
Local 2:
Local set-point number 2 is derived at the
instrument and may be fixed in the SETPTS
MENU or adjusted in the DISPLAYS MENU.
Local 3:
Local set-point number 3 is derived at the
instrument and may be fixed in the SETPTS
MENU or adjusted in the DISPLAYS MENU.
Local 4:
Local set-point number 4 is derived at the
instrument and may be fixed in the SETPTS
MENU or adjusted in the DISPLAYS MENU.
Ramp/
Ramp/soak profile has been enabled in
Soak:
the BASE CFG MENU and is active. See
operation of Ramp/Soak.
Ramp/
Ramp/soak profile has been enabled in
Soak
the BASE CFG MENU and is in the hold
Hold:
state. [RSH] intermittently flashes with [LOC].
See operation of Ramp/Soak.
BOTTOM DISPLAY
Output:
Controller output in percent is being shown in
the lower engineering display.
Set-Point: The controller’s active set-point value is being
shown in the lower engineering display.
Balance:
An imbalance exists between the active set-
point and the newly selected set-point. See
Automatic Operation with Remote or Multiple
Set-Points.
