Adjusting XPE Screen Saver for Profit Point
If you have a Profit Point installed, the customer may dislike having the screen saver turned on
or may wish the time before the screen saver appears, to be adjusted. When a key is pressed or
the mouse pointer is moved the screen saver will turn off and the Profit Point main screen may
appear but be minimized. Be advised that if you shut off the screen saver the Profit Point main
screen could be permanently burned into the monitor screen. This is a customer choice.
1
Right-click anywhere on the blue screen. A menu appears.
2
Click Properties.
3
Display Properties screen will display. Click the Screen Saver tab.
4
On the Screen Saver menu screen, you may change the Screen Saver from the default
“Windows XP” to “(none)” using the drop down selection box.
5
Adjust the time for the screen saver to appear, using the “Wait” option, if you have set another
option other than “(none)” above.
6
Ensure that the changes made are correct, and click Apply and then click OK to save your
changes.
