New PCI Approved Network Versions are Required
To download the new network manuals required for the individual networks listed, refer to
www.gasboy.com . At present, NBS, Paymentech, and Buypass networks are
PCI-approved.
Obsolete Interfaces
The Gasboy Gilbarco Current Loop box for both pump and CRIND device is no longer
supported. The integrated Wayne and Tokheim pump communication drivers are no longer
supported. The SDI Wayne CAT communication interface is no longer supported.
PC Loop Applications
New PCI-compliant versions of all card readers (Gilbarco CRIND, Wayne CAT, Tokheim
Insight) have been released and must be used with the current version of the Pump Loop
Applications. Gasboy ICR and Tokheim DPT integrated drivers are upgraded within the new
CFN III software.
Replacement Software Versions, Parts, and Kits
Ensure that the current versions available are being installed.
Parts Required Onsite for New Install or Upgrade
Before you schedule an upgrade of a SC3 tower, certain parts must be available to the ASC.
Five blank formatted 3.5” floppy disks (1.44 MB) for the backup procedure and two blank
floppies for the Security Keys.
Replacement Floppy Disk, CD-ROM Drive, and 4-port Serial Card
At times, when the ASC arrives to perform an upgrade to a SC3 tower that either the floppy
drive or the CD-ROM drive is not functioning. The addition of PC Loop Applications may
require addition of a 4-port Serial Card, or an existing 2-4-port Serial Card has bad ports and
now needs replacement.

Image Disks for the SC3 Towers
Labeled CFN3/Profit Point OS Disk Set
The CD will reformat the hard drive load the Windows XPE image and install the original, as
shipped, motherboard, video, audio, and serial port drivers. It sets up the Administrator and
Gasboy user accounts as well as creates and sets the permissions of important folders. Original
equipment Windows XP version drivers for audio, sound, and serial port boards are also
included in individual folders on these CDs.
