Verify the Technician User and Password.

At the Sign On prompt, enter the technician user number and password. Change the
password as requested (required), and verify.
For example: At the “signon” prompt, type 90,GASBOY0, press Enter response
“Password must be changed” type GASBOY1 press Enter response “Confirm
Password Change” type GASBOY1 press Enter response P*

Press Esc to log off the technician.

Sign on with updated/verified technician user and changed password.
For example: At the “signon” prompt type 90,GASBOY1 press Enter.

Type ADMPASS and press Enter. If you are able to access the ADMPASS program
you have a good level 10, technician user.

Type STATUS and press Enter. Ensure that the latest version of CFN III software is
loaded. Verify if the correct drivers and networks were installed.

If the technician signed on worked properly, and the correct drivers and network were
received, inform the Gasboy Representative and end the call.

Clearing and wiping the transaction file is mandatory for PCI compliance. To clear and
wipe the transaction files, proceed as follows:
Note: The earlier non-secure backup “Tranback.dta” file MUST not be restored. Only an
encrypted “Tranback.dta” matching the Master and Pass Keys that were loaded
with the “Security” program can be restored.

Type FIX TR;I and press Enter.

Type RE TR;I and press Enter.

Type RESTORE TRAN FROM TRANWIPE.DTA and press Enter.

Type FIX TR;A and press Enter.

Type RE TR;A and press Enter.

Type LO TR 0000 and press Enter, or the last transaction number before the install.

Type RE TR 1 and press Enter, or one number higher than loaded above.

You will require two blank formatted floppy disks. The site’s PCI delegate must enter the
Master and Pass Keys as required. Ensure that you copy the Master and Pass Keys to
floppy before you exit the program. You cannot go back into the program and copy them
later. It must be done now. This must stop the Security error messages.

Type RESTORE EV FR SYSBACK.DTA EXCEPT SIGNON and press Enter, to
restore Sysback.dta.
Note: Any other use of the restore command for Sysback.dta at this time will destroy the
new users just set up with ADMPASS.

Type SYSBACK and press Enter, to create System data with new secure users.
