Purpose Introduction
1 – Introduction
Purpose
The purpose of this manual is to provide information about the changes in the Gasboy ®
CFN III for PCI compliance. It provides information about the changes that may be required,
and corrections for issues that may be encountered during the reimage to Windows
® XP
Embedded (XPE) or the installation or upgrade of the CFN software. It is not a replacement
for the list of Related Gasboy Manuals.
Intended Users
The manual is intended for technicians who install and are completely familiar with the
reimage to Windows XPE and all aspects of the installation of the PCI-compliant Gasboy
CFN III software. If the installing technician understands all items in the checklist, the entirety
of this manual will still serve as a reference for additional information, as required.
For those technicians who are performing their first reimage to Windows XPE and installation
of PCI-compliant CFN III software, it serves the dual purpose of providing the required
checklist to ensure that they have not missed any important steps.
