Quitting a Management Session
To quit a management session, enter Exit at the command prompt. You
should always exit from a management session when you are finished
managing a switch. This can prevent unauthorized individuals from
making changes to a switch’s configuration if you leave your management
station unattended. For information about how to use the console timer to
automatically disconnect a management session, refer to “SYSTEM SET
CONSOLE” on page 53.
Note
Failure to properly exit from a management session may block
future management sessions until the console timer times out. For
information on the console timer, refer to “SYSTEM SET
CONSOLE” on page 53.
