The fields in the Syslog Information section are:
ˆ Status - The status of the syslog client. When the status of the client is
Enable, the management module can send events to a syslog server.
When the status is Disable, the management module cannot send
events to a syslog server. To set this parameter, refer to “LOGGING
ENABLE SYSLOG” on page 116 and “LOGGING DISABLE SYSLOG”
on page 114.
ˆ Server - The IP address of the syslog server. To set this value, refer to
“LOGGING SET EVENTLOG” on page 117.
ˆ Facility Code - The facility level added to the event messages as they
are sent to a syslog server. To set this value, refer to “LOGGING SET
EVENTLOG” on page 117.
Example
This command displays the status of the event log and the syslog client:
logging show
