Description of Syntax 1

This command uploads a configuration file from a management module or
media converter module to an TFTP server. This command is typically
used to upload a master configuration file from a management module
prior to editing it at your workstation or transferring it to another
management module in another chassis.

Although this command can also be used to upload a media converter’s
auxiliary configuration file from the file system of a management module or
media converter module, Allied Telesis recommends against this. Editing
or transferring an auxiliary configuration file serves no purpose since the
settings will be overwritten by the master configuration file on the
management module after the file is installed on a media converter
module. For further information on configuration files, refer to “Overview”
on page 130.
