URRENCY
SYMBOL
. Select the currency symbol for the current country/region. The default is the
dollar sign ($) for the United States.
C
URRENCY
SYMBOL
POSITION
. Determines whether the currency symbol will appear before or after the
number representing the monetary value (i.e. $100.00 or 100.00$).

EGATIVE
NUMBER
. A negative symbol can be placed in front of the number (i.e. -$12.3, behind it (i.e.
$12.34), or the number will be bracketed by parentheses (i.e. ($12.34)).

tab lets you adjust the terminal displayed Monetary Values. The default settings are
standard for the country/region selected on the R
EGION
screen.
To change a C
URRENCY
setting:
1.
From the R
EGIONAL
S
ETTINGS
P
ROPERTIES
screen, press the
LEAR
> key to activate the option tabs
at the top of the screen (a dashed line will outline one of the tab headings). Use the
RROW
> keys
to select the C
URRENCY
tab.
2.
Press the
LEAR
> key to move down through the available options. When an option is selected,
RROW
> key repeatedly to scroll the available selections.
3. Press the
NTER
> key when all changes have been completed.
*NOTE*
In some cases, none of the standard settings may satisfy the requirements. A value can be manually entered
in the field by pressing the
0 (down), and the
RROW
> keys to navigate around the keyboard. Press the
NTER
> key to make a
selection and save the value in the field.
