ESCRIPTION
:
The M ODEM / E THERNET option allows the terminal operator to perform the following functions:
1. D EVICE S TATUS . Displays a management report that shows properties of the modems (dial-up and
TCP/IP) parameters.
2. T EST . This function tests the modem by dialing a number that you enter in a dialog box. A status
report displays the progress and results of the operation.
3. M ODEM T OTALS . Displays a management report showing the number of modem call attempts, busy
signals, and aborted calls.
4. C ONFIGURE M ODEM . Enables you to view and configure the modem’s operating parameters.

ETTINGS
. This function provides access to Triton Connect settings and
configuration parameters.
6. C ONFIGURE E THERNET S ETTINGS . This function enables you to view and configure TCP/IP (Ethernet)
settings.
7. M ODEM S ETUP S TRING . This function allows entering a non-standard setup string, if needed.
