Introduction
This document describes new functionality for the 2.0.0 South Africa (EMV) software release
for RL2000. The differences described are from 1.9.0 RL5000. Only software changes are
documented, please refer to the RL2000 Users Manual for hardware information of the RL2000
ATM.
Platforms Affected
This release is for the following families:
• RL2000
• 9100 with RL2000 EMV Upgrade
Hardware Requirements
The following is a list of hardware supported by this software:
• Display: 8” Color VGA or 5.7” Color VGA
• Card Reader: MagTek Intellistripe 65 dip reader or Sankyo ICT3K5 motorized card
reader
• SPED: SP-06 EPP
• Dispenser: TDM50, TMD1xx, TDM2xx, SDD, MiniMech, NMD50
• Printer: Seiko 60mm or 80mm USB Printer without Presenter
• Modem: Triton USB Modem
• 128MB RAM and 128MB Flash
Software Requirements
The following load file is included with this release:
• xd14xsae2.0.0.tfv – South Africa with EMV for 8" display X2
• xd14dsae2.0.0.tfv – South Africa with EMV for 5.7” display X2
External Dependencies
The following feature requires Triton Connect Version 4.4 or greater:
• Software updates from Triton Connect.
