8. Press the Enter key.
* If the fax number you entered has already been registered for
this operation or too many numbers were entered, an error
message will appear in the message display. In this case,
press the Enter key and the message display will return to a
display that allows you to enter the fax number again.
9. Select whether or not you want to continue entering other
destination fax numbers.
> If you DO want to continue entering fax numbers, return to step 7.
> If you are finished entering fax numbers, proceed to step 10.
10. Press the Enter key.

11. If you want to have a Transmission Report sent from this relay
station, enter your fax number as it would be entered by
someone at that station.
* This Transmission Report will show the results of the
transmissions from that relay station to each of the
corresponding final destinations. If you do not want to have this
report sent to you, this step is not necessary. Proceed to step 12.
* As it is necessary for the relay station to dial your fax number,
your number should be entered using an abbreviated number or
one-touch key registered in the relay station’s fax machine to
enter the number. (Refer to

13. Select whether or not you want to continue registering relay
stations.
> If you DO want to continue registering other relay stations,
return to step 3 on page 4-25.
> If you are finished registering relay stations, proceed to step 14.
14. If you want to designate a time for the operation to begin,
press the DELAYED TX. key.
* If the maximum allowable number of communications that use
the timer (max: 50) is reached, an error message will appear in
the message display. In this case, press the Enter key and the
operation panel will return to the initial mode settings.
* If you want the transmission to begin right away, this step is not
necessary. Proceed to step 17.
15. Press the Enter key.
16. Use the keypad to enter the desired time for the transmission to
begin.
* If you want to reset the displayed time to “00:00”, simply press
the Stop/Clear key.
17. Press the Enter key.
18. Press the Start key. The documents will be scanned into memory
and the transmission operation will begin automatically.
* If a time for the transmission to begin was designated,
the transmission operation will begin when the appointed time is
reached.
If you want to use the abbreviated numbers or one-touch keys
registered in the relay station’s fax machine to enter the fax
number of a final destination, or of the party to send the
Transmission Report to…

Abbreviated number…Press the pound
key and then enter
the 2-digits (00 - 99) for the corresponding abbreviated
number.
* If the relay station’s fax machine is the same model as this
fax, an abbreviated number from 000 - 199 can be registered.
However for this procedure, numbers 100 - 199 are not
available.
●
One-touch key…Press the star
key and then enter the
2-digits that correspond to the desired one-touch key.
