6. Enter the number that you want to use for the Confidential Box
number.
* Each Confidential Box number is a 4-digit number from “0000” to
“9999”.
* If you want to reset the displayed number to “0000”, simply press
the Stop/Clear key.
7. Press the Enter key.
8. Enter the number that you want to use for the Confidential Box ID.
* Each Confidential Box ID is a 4-digit number from “0000” to “9999”.
* If you register “0000” as the Confidential Box ID, it will not be
necessary to enter an ID when you print out documents from that
Confidential Box.
* If you want to reset the displayed number to “0000”, simply press
the Stop/Clear key.
9. Press the Enter key.
10. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select whether or
not you want to designate this Confidential Box for Encrypted
Reception.
> If you want to designate this Confidential Box for Encrypted
Reception, select “On” and then proceed to step 11.
> If you DO NOT want to designate this Confidential Box for
Encrypted Reception, select “Off” and then proceed to step 15.
11. Press the Enter key.

12. Use the keypad to enter the 2-digit Key Code (01 - 20) that
corresponds to the Encryption Key to be used for this
Confidential Box.
13. Press the Enter key.
14. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select whether or
not you want documents received into this Confidential Box to be
automatically printed out.
> If you want to have received documents printed out
immediately after reception, select “On”.
> If you want to allow print out only when the appropriate
procedure is performed, select “Off”. (Refer to “(6) Printing Out
Documents from a Confidential Box”, page 4-16.)
15. Press the Enter key.
Registration of that Confidential Box is complete.
> If you want to continue registering other Confidential Boxes,
return to step 4 on page 4-12.
> If you are finished registering Confidential Boxes, press the
Reset key. The operation panel will return to the initial mode
settings.
