that you entered correct?
Check the registered Confidential Box
information.
I am not able to transmit
documents to a destination
Confidential Box.
Is the destination fax machine one of our
models that has Confidential Reception
capabilities?

If the destination fax is not one of our
models that has Confidential Reception
capabilities, transmission to that party’s
Confidential Box will NOT be possible.
Check with the destination party.
Is the Confidential Box number you are
transmitting to registered in the
destination fax?

Is the memory in the destination fax
machine full?

I am not able to perform Encrypted
Communication.
Did the transmitting party perform the
appropriate registration procedure for the
abbreviated number or one-touch key
(designated for Encrypted Transmission)
as decided in advance with the receiving
party?
Check the information to be registered
once again with the other party.
Did the receiving party perform the
appropriate registration procedure for the
appropriate Confidential Box (designated
for Encrypted Reception) as decided in
advance with the transmitting party?
Check the information to be registered
once again with the other party.
Is the Encryption Key you used correct?
Check the Encryption Key to be
registered once again with the other
party.
I am not able to perform Remote
Switching.
Is your telephone service set for pulse
dialling?

the desired tone signals. Refer to the
Instruction Manual for the telephone
being used.
Did you use the correct Remote
Switching number?
Check the registered number.

Polling.
Did the transmitting party perform the
Polling Transmission procedure
correctly?

During registration of a Confidential
Box, an error occurs when I enter
the box number and I cannot
register the Confidential Box.
Is the box number (4 digits) you are
trying to enter the same as the
subaddress (4 digits) registered for
an F-Code Box?
You CANNOT register a Confidential
Box number (4 digits) that is identical to
a registered F-Code Box subaddress.
Select a different Confidential Box
number.
