I was able to receive a fax, but it
was not printed out and the
documents are not in memory.
Is Fax Forwarding turned ON? 4-29 Check the Fax Forwarding setting.
I am not able to receive
documents.
Is the modular cord connected correctly? 1-2 Connect the modular cord correctly.
Is “Communication Error.” displayed?

correct the error and try to receive the
documents again.
Is Password Check Reception turned

I am not able to perform Memory
Reception.
Is the memory in your fax machine full?

Polling Transmission procedure
correctly?

Is the transmitting party’s fax machine
one of our models that has the capability
of entering confidential data?
If the transmitting party’s fax is not one
of our models that can enter confidential
data, Confidential Polling Reception will
NOT be possible. Check with the
transmitting party

Is the Confidential Box number you are
trying to receive from registered in
transmitting party’s fax?
Check with the transmitting party.

Were documents entered into the
transmitting party’s Confidential Box?
Check with the transmitting party.

entered correct? If you think the box ID you entered IS
correct, check with the other party. ___
