Using DC Injection Braking
Set parameter b2-03 to apply DC Injection Braking current to the motor while it is coasting to stop. This
allows the MxC to stop the motor more quickly than simply allowing it to coast, and also to restart the motor
again.
Set b2-03 to 0 to disable DC Injection Braking at start.
Set the DC injection braking current using b2-02. DC injection braking is used at start up in Flux Vector Con-
trol with the current set in E2-03 (Motor No-Load Current).

Inputting DC Injection Braking Command from Control Circuit Terminals
If a multi-function digital input terminal (H1-) is set to 60 (DC Injection Braking Command), DC Injec-
tion Braking can be applied to the motor is applied by enabling the terminal for which DC Injection Braking
Command has been set when the MxC is being stopped. DC Injection Braking is used at startup in Flux Vector
Control.
The time chart for DC Injection Braking is shown below.
