Copying config settings of matrix switches
If a matrix switch of the KVM matrix system is replaced by another device, the settings
of the old device can be copied to the new one.
After the config settings have been copied, the new device is immediately ready for
operation.
How to copy configuration settings of matrix switches:
1. In the directory tree, click
KVM Matrix systems > [Name] > Matrix switches .
2. Right-click the new matrix switch. Now click Move to... on the context menu.
A new window now lists all inactive matrix switches.
3. Select the matrix switch whose configuration settings you want to copy.
4. Click OK to copy the config settings.
IMPORTANT: The matrix switch whose settings are copied is afterwards deleted
from the KVM matrix system.
