Changing computer data into a form that can be used by
a different computer system or program to convert a
Word Processing file into an ASCII file and vice versa as
well as a Spreadsheet file or a part of a Spreadsheet file

into

a Word Processing

file.

A special memory used by the TW application to

temporarily store the text of the current line. Since the

typewriter knows the contents of the current line as well

as their position on the paper, corrections can be carried
out without retyping the wrong character. The correction

memory is cleared as soon as the carrier advances to

the next line.
