Read Mode
Single mode
• Single mode sends the first data read by the BL/SR/RF Series device array to the host computer.
(Once one BL/SR/RF Series device on the network has read in data, the others will cease
operation.) This allows multiple BL/SR/RF Series devices to be controlled as one device.
• When trigger input is ON, an error will result only if none of the connected BL/SR/RF Series devices
are able to read data.
• Data will normally be sent as soon as it has been read, but it is possible to have the data sent after
the trigger input has been turned OFF.
Multi mode
• In multi mode, all data obtained by the connected BL/SR/RFSeries devices while the trigger input is
on is sent.
• BL/SR/RF Series devices that encounter an error do not send any data.
• When trigger input is on, a single error code will be sent only if none of the connected BL/SR/RF
Series devices are able to read data.
• Data will normally be sent as soon as it has been read, but it is possible to have the data sent after
the trigger input has been turned OFF.
