The following menu appears:
All settings are recommended values.
4 After attaching the proper cable, set up the client console.
Option: EMP Password Switch
Whenever you attempt to initiate a connection, a prompt for the User password
appears. If this option is Disabled, anyone can access the EMP by clicking OK.
Option: EMP ESC Sequence
Do not change this setting.
Option: EMP Hangup Line String
Do not change this setting.
Option: Modem Init String
Sets the initialization string for the modem being used for EMP. Only used in
EMP Modem mode.
Option: High Modem Init String
This is a continuation of the Modem Init string. When you type 16 characters
into the Modem Init String field, this additional field appears, allowing you to
type in another four characters.
Option: EMP Access Mode
Settings: Disable
EMP is disabled. COM2 is always available for system use.
Settings: Pre-Boot Only
EMP is only enabled during power down through end of POST when the
operating system boots.
