Operating with extremely high loads

The following may occur when the server operates with extremely high loads.

™

The following message may appear in the Application Log of the Windows
NT Event Viewer:

Event ID: 9

Source: mraid35x

(Explanation) Device SCSI Port did not reply within the timeout.

™

When attempting to start or execute Power Console, proper execution may
halt and the following window may appear:

No MegaRAID Adapter card found!

[OK]

If this occurs, press

Enter

and restart Power Console when the load decreases.

Auto rebuild with a Hot Spare

After finishing an auto rebuild in a RAID configuration with a Hot Spare, the
fault LED at the failed drive automatically turns off, leaving no indication that a
failure occurred. To ensure that an audible warning will be heard, even after the
LED has automatically turned off, set the Alarm Control option to Enabled.
