System Setup Utility (SSU)

Hot Key
To set a Hot Key, put the system in security mode. Press
Ctrl + Alt
and the
chosen key to set the security mode. In security mode, the system ignores
inputs from the keyboard and mouse. To allow inputs from the keyboard and
mouse, the User Password must be entered from the keyboard. This applies
only when a User Password is registered.
Lockout Timer
When a User Password has been set, the system is automatically set in security
mode if the keyboard and mouse are not operated for a specific time. Set a time
for the system to change to security mode. This applies only when a User
Password is registered.
Secure Boot Mode
Set to Enable or Disable.
When enabled, security mode is automatically selected after the operating
system is started, and the system ignores input from the keyboard and mouse
until the User Password is entered from the keyboard. This applies only when a
User Password is registered.
Video Blanking
Video Blanking may be enabled to show no display in security mode.
Floppy Write Protect
Floppy Writes may be enabled to write on the diskette or disabled to prevent
floppy writes in security mode.
SEL Viewer Add-in
The event log contains alarms and events received from the system board. The
Server Setup Utility can view and clear the event log. The SEL Viewer Add-in
dialog box appears on the screen and shows the event log (SEL: System Event
LOG) when selecting SEL Viewer Add-in on the main menu.
