System Event Logging
The system generates an “event” when it detects a failure such as a disk unit
or a cooling fan. System indicator lights blink to display the event.
If you choose Enabled, the system records the failure information in an
event log.
If you choose Disabled, the failure information is not stored.
Clear Event Log
When you choose Yes, the event log that stores error information is deleted
at the next startup.
When you choose No, the event log is automatically created again after
being deleted.
Set the other items to the recommended values as shown.
Server Management Info
Shows the serial number of the system board.
Console Redirection
When Console Redirection is selected, the following submenu displays. Do
not change the settings.
Processor Retest
When “Yes” is set, CPU error information from the past initial diagnosis is
deleted, and the CPU is tested again at the next initial diagnosis.
