User Guidelines
•
Each port can advertise one IP address.
•
Only static IP addresses can be advertised.
•
If multiple addresses exist they can be advertised, for example, where an IP is configured on a port, and the
port is a member in a VLAN configured with IP.
Example
The following example specifies that the management address will be advertised from an interface as
192.168.0.1.
lldp notifications
The lldp notifications Interface Configuration mode command enables sending LLDP notifications. Use the no
form of this command to to revert to the default setting.
Syntax
lldp notifications {enable | disable}
no lldp notifications
Parameters
This command has no parameter settings.
Default Configuration
LLDP notifications is disabled
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example enables LLDP notifiactions on an interface.
lldp med enable
The lldp med enable Interface Configuration mode command enables LLDP Media Endpoint Discovery (MED) on
an interface. Use the no form of this command to disable LLDP MED on an interface.

console(config-if)# lldp management-address 192.168.0.1
console(config)# interface ethernet e5
