ip igmp snooping host-time-out
The ip igmp snooping host-time-out Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode command configures the host-time-
out. If an IGMP report for a Multicast group was not received for a host-time-out period from a specific port, this
port is deleted from the member list of that Multicast group. Use the no form of this command to return to the
default configuration.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping host-time-out time-out
no ip igmp snooping host-time-out
Parameters

time-out — Host timeout in seconds. (Range: 60 – 2147483647)
Default Configuration
The default host-time-out is 260 seconds.

Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode
User Guidelines
The timeout should be at least greater than 2*query_interval+max_response_time of the IGMP router.
Example
The following example configures the host timeout to 300 seconds.
ip igmp snooping querier enable
The ip igmp snooping querier enable Interface Configuration mode command enables Internet Group
Management Protocol (IGMP) querier on a specific VLAN. Use the no form of this command to disable IGMP
querier on a VLAN interface.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping querier enable
no ip igmp snooping querier enable
Parameters
This command has no arguments or keywords
Default Configuration
Disabled.
