If the file is found:
•
The put command transfers the file to iLO 2
•
The image validates
•
The flash process begins
If the file is not found:
•
Some versions of the put command do not display an error message
NOTE:
If the directory path includes spaces, enclose the path and filename in quotes.
After the firmware image transfers, the recovery payload calculates the check sum, validates the
digital signature, and reports if the image is valid. The flash reprogram begins if the image is valid,
and the flash progress is reported to the client.
NOTE:
This process takes a few seconds while the recovery payload decrypts the stored hash
and computes a hash for the image to compare against. If the image is valid, the FTP server begins
programming the image into the flash portion, and provides status updates.
When completed, the flash recovery payload module disconnects and reboots the iLO 2 processor.
If the flash recovery process is unsuccessful, start the process again, and watch the progress for
any errors. You might have to use a different firmware image for the process.
