1. Enter the network address, login name, and password for the designated directory server.
2. Enter the container distinguished name in the Container DN field, or click Browse.
3. Associate device objects with a member of a role by entering the role distinguished name in
the Role DN field, or click Browse.
4. Click Update Directory. The tool connects to the directory, creates the management processor
objects, and adds them to the selected roles.
5. After the device objects have been associated with a role, click Next.
Configuring directories when schema-free integration is selected
The fields in the Configure Management Processors screen are:

Network Address – The network address of the directory server, which can be a valid DNS
name or IP address.
•
Login Name and Password – These fields are used to log in with an account that has domain
administrator access to the directory.
•
Security Group Distinguished Name – The distinguished name of the group in the directory
that contains a set of iLO 2 users with a common set of privileges. If the directory name, login
name, and password are correct, you can click the Browse button to navigate to and select
the group.
•
Privileges – The iLO 2 privileges associated with the selected group. The login privilege is
implied if the user is a member of the group.
Configure Management Processors settings are stored until the next page in the wizard.
