KARF64036-E

The specified logical volume is being used by
the cluster software.

Cause: Provisioning Manager cannot be used to
operate a logical volume that is being used by the
cluster software.
Action: Manually perform the following procedure,
and then retry the operation:

Edit the cluster configuration file.

Execute cmapplyconf.

KARF64037-E

The specified logical volume has been
marked as part of a high-availability cluster.

Cause: Provisioning Manager cannot be used to
operate a logical volume that is being used by the
cluster software.
Action
Manually perform the following procedure, and
then retry the operation:

1

Execute the vgchange -a n command to
deactivate the volume group.

2

Execute the vgchange -c n command to
remove the high-availability cluster mark.

3

Execute the vgchange -a y command to
activate the volume group.

4

Refresh the host information.

KARF64038-E

The cluster configuration of the host is invalid.

Cause: There is an inconsistency between the host
cluster configuration and cluster configuration file.
Action:
Refer to the Serviceguard manual to check the
contents of the cluster configuration file. If
necessary, check the cluster system status,
remove the inconsistency between the host cluster
configuration and cluster configuration file, and
then retry the operation.

KARF64039-E

An attempt to delete the directory for the
created volume group has failed. (directory
name = directory)

Cause: Rollback processing has failed.
Action: Delete the directory that was output in the
message.

KARF65001-E

The specified raw device does not exist.

Cause: The specified raw device is not correctly
recognized as a device file on the host.
Action: Make the specified raw device
recognizable as a device file, and then resume
processing.

KARF65002-E

An HDLM device corresponding to the
specified device does not exist.

Cause
An attempt to create an HDLM device might have
failed. Alternatively, an attempt to either recognize
the LU specified by the request or create a device
file might have failed.
Action
Refresh the host information to check whether the
specified LU appears. If it does not appear, make
the host recognize the LU, create an HDLM
device, and then retry the operation. For details on
how to make a host recognize an HDLM device,
see the HDLM manual.

KARF65003-E

The HDLM path is invalid.

Cause: The host's application (HDLM) settings are
incorrect, or the requested operation is invalid in
the host's system configuration.
Action: Depending on the contents of the error
message, revise the host status and application
(HDLM) settings, remove the cause of the error,
and then retry the operation.

KARF65011-W

The specified raw device does not exist.

Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
