Error Code Error Message Description and Recommended Action
KARF10013-E The newest information cannot be acquired
because the host is currently being refreshed.
Information classification: information-
classification Cause: The host refresh processing is updating
the database information.
Action: Wait for the refresh to finish, and then
refresh the information by clicking Refresh in the
navigation frame.
KARF10015-E An internal error occurred while user group
information was being acquired. Cause: An internal error occurred.
Action: Contact the Support Center.
KARF10016-E An error occurred while the Common
Component database was being updated.
(error-message) Cause: An error occurred in the Device Manager
server.
Action: Take action according to the instructions
given in the Device Manager manual.
KARF10026-E An error occurred while storage pool
information was being updated. Cause: The state of Common Component
database might be inconsistent.
Action: Update the Common Component
database to the latest state. To do this, Set "true"
for the server.base.initialsynchro property in the
server.properties file of Device Manager, and then
restart the Device Manager server. If this problem
persists, contact the Support Center.
KARF10027-E The specified volume (volume-number) also
has owner permissions for user groups below
the specified user group (user-group-name). Cause: The specified user group is invalid.
Action: Check the user group and volume, and
then take appropriate action.
KARF10028-E One or more paths are already set for the
specified volume. Cause: An attempt was made to move a volume
for which one or more paths are specified.
Action: Check the path, and then take appropriate
action.
KARF10030-I The relation between user-group and user-
group is relation. Cause: n/a

KARF10031-E The move-source user group does not have
permissions for the specified volume.
Cause: The move-source user group does not
have permissions for the specified volume.
Action: Check the move-source user group, and
then take appropriate action.
KARF10032-E The logged-in user does not have permissions
for the user group user-group. Cause: A user group for which permissions are
insufficient was specified.
Action: Check the user group, and then take
appropriate action.
KARF10033-E An access permission error occurred. Cause: The logged-in user does not have access
permissions for modifying the storage pool.
Action: Check the logged-in user access
permissions, and then take appropriate action.
KARF10034-E The specified volume does not exist. Cause: The specified volume does not exist.
Action: Check the volume, and then take
appropriate action.
KARF10035-E The move destination and move source are
the same. Cause: The specified move-destination user
group and the move-source user group are the
same.
Action: Check the move-source and move-
destination user groups, and then take
appropriate action.
KARF10036-E The specified plan does not exist. Cause: The specified plan was not found.
Action: Make sure that the specification is correct,
and then retry.
KARF10038-E Login information for the logged-in user was
not found. (user name = user-ID)
Cause: The user or user group information might
have been changed or deleted.
Action: Check the information registered for the
user and user group.
KARF10039-E The logical group cannot be allocated to the
specified user group. (user group = user-
