To deter patrons from exiting the OPAC, the following also occurs when you
select the Disable access to other applications option:
S The OPAC launches in full screen mode.
S On a Macintosh workstation, all other processes stop when the OPAC is
launched.
S When the OPAC is open, the operating system functions in the table below
are modified on Mac OS and Windows 95/98 and NT workstations:
